LA BETHELINE - Marseille, France: The culmination of a generation of mission AND the beginning of a new generation of mission!
AN ACT OF GOD
It began with a dream for a Christian Outreach Center in our sector of the city of Marseille. After seven years of praying and searching, God has miraculously delivered the historic Betheline monastery into our hands! Now we must go in and take possession. Renovations to transform the monastery into a Christian Outreach Center began in September 2025.
A GENERATION IN THE MAKING
The Betheline project has been a generation in the making. God was working to bring together the necessary elements to undertake this colossal mission: the vision, experience, competence, network of relationships and financial means came together over a generation!
our Vision
We believe the unprecedented and much-prayed-for Betheline project is a sign from God: a sign of hope for the survival and rebirth of a dynamic Christian presence in Marseille and France for years to come. It is a gift and a calling from God, and we are ready to accept the challenge!
our mission
Renovate the historic Betheline monastery, transforming it into a Christian outreach center. Provide a visible Christian presence with opportunities for spiritual growth, community service, artistic expression and creation care, all sharing the Good News of the love of God, serving our neighborhood, the city of Marseille and the French-speaking world.
LET’S GET PRACTICAL
Every part of the historic monastery, from the chapel at the heart of the building, to the olive trees at the fingertips of the property, will be a part of our mission for the Kingdom of God at the Betheline. See details and dreams below!
